I have just viewed "A Night to Remember" from Granada Ventures (ITV DVD) purchased from Amazon.co.uk (Region 2 PAL). The Amazon.co.uk web-site describes the aspect ratio as 4:3 (1.33:1). The DVD packaging claims the aspect ratio to be 16:9 (1.78:1). It is in fact a letterbox presentation that has been stretched (east-west) from the cinema 15:9 (1.66:1) matted version...
